This thread seems to have been deleted somehow. Let's see if we can get a recap of the latest events going on.
You had explored, and found only two rooms so far in the tower. While exploring the second room Adon fell down a hole in the floor that had been covered by an illusion. Qaz quickly threw a rope down the hole and Adon, who had managed to stop his fall grabbed it and climbed back up. You are now standing about the hole contemplating it as the only apparent way to go anywhere else in this tower. In appearance it looks like a covered slide and is apparently oiled on all sides.

Vorath will tender his two cp: If we have no apparent other way, then I suggest this is our next path. But one said we should not use a spike and a rope, and I'd like to know why not. SEems that would be safest in case we need to get back out this way.

Hearing the sniping and thinly veiled insults being tossed about, Vorath calls their attention to what is happening, There may be some evil at work here on our minds, the cohesiveness of the group that was borne of common need has started to fray. I think we need to double our effort to act as a group, allowing each member to contribute what they are best at, and the rest of the group covering for that person's weaknesses. Only in that way will we be successful against whatever malevolence controls this place.
Vorath looks around the group before that first person goes down the rope.
The evil has won the first battle if we fight amongst ourselves.

When Adon reaches the bottom, he lets go of the rope end he was holding (someone else was holding the other end, right?), and jumps to his feat, sword ready.

It's a slide. You don't need the rope to get down. Adon took the rope to signal whether or not it's safe to come down. It was in the deleted thread. |

Ralcala will go second, waiting briefly, holding the other end of the rope, waiting for any tugging on it, then, offering it to whoever, if anyone wants it, before she jumps down the slide.
