I have an idea for a Pathfinder game, mainly concerning the Characters. The idea is based on the fact that, Real people do not choose their Parents, Cousins, or other Ancestors, or whether they were adopted, or where they are from, or what their early life is like With that in mind, my idea is that, I, the DM of the game, let the Players decide on Names for their Characters, their Characters Abilities, Feats, Traits, Skills, Equipment, Spells and Race. The Player would also be given the option of naming known Relatives, such as Parents, Siblings, and Cousins. I would decide things such as If the Character was adopted, Was the Family Lower/Middle/ Upper Class, very Religous, respected/Despised, Does the Character have any quirks, such as a third arm, no body hair, webbed feet, or able to cast Clairaudience 1x/day. Also would work out the Characters Body Details, Tall, thin, lithe, Buff, Stocky, Short, whatever. The Players would be asked a few vague questions, about certain things, then, when the work is done, the Player would be told what they know about their Background, leading up to the start of the game. If there is interest, this game would start sometime later this year.
