I have an idea for a Pathfinder game, mainly concerning the Characters.
The idea is based on the fact that, Real people do not choose their Parents, Cousins, or other Ancestors, or whether they were adopted, or where they are from, or what their early life is like
With that in mind, my idea is that, I, the DM of the game, let the Players decide on Names for their Characters, their Characters Abilities, Feats, Traits, Skills, Equipment, Spells and Race.
The Player would also be given the option of naming known Relatives, such as Parents, Siblings, and Cousins.
I would decide things such as If the Character was adopted, Was the Family Lower/Middle/ Upper Class, very Religous, respected/Despised, Does the Character have any quirks, such as a third arm, no body hair, webbed feet, or able to cast Clairaudience 1x/day.  Also would work out the Characters Body Details, Tall, thin, lithe, Buff, Stocky, Short, whatever.
The Players would be asked a few vague questions, about certain things, then, when the work is done, the Player would be told what they know about their Background, leading up to the start of the game.
If there is interest, this game would start sometime later this year.

Is this homebrew or using an adventure or module?

This would be a homebrew game, most likely, unless Paizo comes out with another Adventure path that peaks my interest.

This game will take place in the Pathfinder world, Glorian.
What I think I will do with it, besides creating backgrounds for Characters, is, use it as a testing ground for my new version of D&D.  It will be mostly Pathfinder rules, but will try things to see how they work out, if they dont work, either scrap, or modify them.
I will post a sample Character, or two, just to let you see an example of the background

This is an example Character, a copy of my Character that I play in a live, tabletop game.
She has more Abilities, Comeliness(COM) how attractive she is to most viewers, EGO(EGO) which is determined, at first, from early life events, then, goes up/down, depending on what happens to you in your life, for example, if you die, you lose a point of Ego, assuming, you are raised at some point.  If your familiar kills the creature your fighting, or someone else's familiar kills it, you lose Ego.
REP(Reputation) is also first determined by early life events, then, what happenns to you later in life.  In the case of Dagmar, her child is gaining notierity, word has spread that Dagmar got a Full Pardon after being convicted of murder, and from some of the encounters she has had while practizing her Profession: Streetwalker trade
